We are the Rebels!
Who: This co-ed program is for children aged 8 to 16.
What: Rep is a competitive fastball (windmill) league. Tryouts begin in May.
When: Players can expect games to take place during the week and they'll have at least one practice per week. Rep teams are also expected to travel for their away games and tournaments. Lakefield Rebels are in the Kawartha Softball League. The season begins in May and ends in July.
Where: Home games and practices take place at Douglas Park - 2 Hague Blvd in Lakefield, just before the public beach.
How: Registration can be done online at this page or in person the following days. In person registration forms can be downloaded here (not required if registering online).
- Wednesday, February 19: 5:00-7:00pm at the Lakefield Arena
- Saturday, February 29: 9:00am-12:00 noon at the Lakefield Arena
- Tuesday, March 10: 5:30-7:00pm at Kingdon U Stor It (3335 Lakefield Rd)
- Tuesday, March 24: 5:30-7:00pm at Kingdon U Stor It (3335 Lakefield Rd)
- Every Monday-Friday morning between 9:00am-12:00noon at Kingdon U Stor It until March 26, excluding March 15-20.
Age groups: U10 (2010-2011), U12 (2008-2009), U14 (2006-2007) and U16 (2004-2005).
Uniform: Rep players will need a ball glove, rubber cleats (mandatory) and white ball pants with a red belt. Jerseys and hats are provided.

Tryout Fee: There is a $10 non-refundable tryout fee included in the $150 Registration Fee. If your child is cut from the team, you will be refunded $140.
A player may be requested to transfer to another House League team during the course of the season in order to keep the teams as even as possible.
