House League
This co-ed program is for children aged 3 to 16, at any skill level - whether a beginner or an experienced player. It's all about learning the game and having fun. All House League games are played at Douglas Park (2 Hague Blvd) and the new diamond located at the Lakefield Public School. The season starts as soon as we are allowed on the diamonds. (Typically the end of April or the first of May). The season runs for 7 to 8 weeks, ending before summer holidays begin.
Rep League
This co-ed program is for children aged 6 to 16. Rep is a competitive fastball (windmill) league. Tryouts begin in May and the season ends in August. Players can expect games to take place during the week and they'll have at least one practice per week. Rep teams are expected to travel for their away games within the Kawartha Softball League boundaries. There will be a tournament or two as well, depending on what the coaching staff decides.
Where do you play
All games are played at Douglas Park in Lakefield just before the beach. We also will be using the new ball diamond located at Lakefield Public School. House League games are played on Sundays and Rep League games are during the week. There is plenty of free parking.
How do you sign up
Registration can be done online or in person at the dates below.
You can register in person at 3335 Lakefield Road any week day morning from 9:00-12:30.
There will be in-person registration Wednesday February 16, February 23 and March 2 at the Lakefield Arena from 6:30pm-9:00pm
What you'll need
House League players need a ball glove and a pair of running shoes or rubber cleats. Rep players need a ball glove, rubber cleats (mandatory) and white ball pants with belt loops.

Diamond Location
All House League games and Rep League home games are played at both of the diamonds in Lakefield, 2 Hague Blvd, Lakefield, ON - just before the public beach and the one located at Lakefield District Public School, 71 Bridge St, Lakefield, ON
